This is the official web site of the South Australian Bangladeshi Community Association (SABCA). Bangladeshi Community in South Australia brings in another dimension of cultural diversity in South Australia. A peaceful harmonious community believes in living with harmony with the people of other national and cultural origin.

This web site is fully sponsored by the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, Government of South Australia.

The Bangladeshi community members, living in South Australia maintains social bondage and communication among themselves. They strongly feel that our children develop appreciation and intimate ties with their tradition, language, culture and lifestyle among themselves.

Our Philosophy

SABCA is committed to developing awareness of Bangladeshi culture, language, tradition and lifestyle among our Australian friends and neighbors to build a homogeneous and harmonious multicultural Australian society. At the same time this web site is designed to pass information to new Bangladeshi migrants, permanent or temporary residents, students and workers in Adelaide, south Australia.

Our Missions

  • Establish closer ties among the members by showing mutual respect and by observing honesty and openness.
  • Provide cultural, intellectual, social, spiritual and charitable welfare to Bangladeshi descendants.
  • Strengthen the cultural ties and friendship between Bangladesh and Australia.
  • Develop and promote awareness of Bangladeshi culture, tradition and lifestyle among the Australian society.
  • Promote cultural exchange with any other group, organization or institution interested in Bangladeshi culture.
  • Liaise with the Federal Government, State Government, Local Government and Private Bodies to serve the interest of Bangladeshi nationals and students living in South Australia.
  • Provide assistance to Bangladeshi students and new arrivals in South Australia with the information and other means practically possible by the Association.

Meet Our Team

Mahbub Siraz Tuhin
Mahbub Siraz TuhinChairperson
He is an MBA and Bachelor of Law. He has extensive experience of 15+ years as Human Resource and Recruitment Consultant. Additionally he is working as: Chairman, Impartiality Committee GRS; Founder, Career Partner Australia; Founder, Australian Job Networks; Founder, Society for Australia Bangladesh International Business (SABIB); Member, Royal Association of Justice SA Inc. (since 2014). He has been a loyal volunteer of SABCA in the following capacities: Vice Chairperson, SABCA EC 2015-16; Chief Editor, SABCA Annual Magazine (2015, 2016, 2018); Coordinator, Bush Fire Donation Collection 2015; Coordinator, Flood Donation Collection 2017; Coordinator, SABCA Home Based Aged Care Program 2017. He loves to coordinate and take leadership for many community initiatives like: Muslim Graveyard, fund raise for Cancer and other people in need of assistance. He also participated in Australia Representative for Global Summit 2016; Bangladesh Investment Summit, Paris 2018; supporting job seekers by free career consultancy; helping community and new Migrants for any needs.
Md. Asaduzzaman
Md. AsaduzzamanGeneral Secretary
Mr Asaduzzaman completed B.Sc in CSE, Khulna University. Currently he is working as IT professional in SA Health. Previously he was working in Westpac as Business Analyst. He
worked in Robi Axiata as Manager of Revenue Management. He also worked for Square Group, Synesis IT Ltd and ATI limited. As a person he is innovative, dynamic and challenge loving. He served SABCA as Public Relation Secretary (2016-2017) and Student Affairs Secretary (2017-2018). He is a photographer and videographer who covered many major events of SABCA. He is also covering Bangladeshi community news in
Prothom-Alo and Bdnews24 from Adelaide.
